I feel truly blessed and very humbled when I tell you that I just won the election without having to go through a whole campaign.  At the end of the qualifying period today at noon I had no opponent, which means I am automatically elected.  This is the second time that has happened, which is even more humbling. 


I want to thank each and every one of you for all you have done to make this possible.  Each of you played an important part in this campaign, from rolling up your sleeves to digging into your wallets to helping in various capacities to words of encouragement.  Thank you so much for everything!  I couldn't have done it without you! 


I will continue to pour my heart and soul into my mission to make our community a better place to live, a wonderful place to enjoy, and a safe and happy place to raise your family or socialize with your friends.  We are so fortunate to live in our little part of the world and to have friends we can rely on.

Commissioner Donna Fiala hands over more than 800 petitions to Qualifying Officer, Dave Carpenter at the Supervisor of Elections Office. She only needed 366 petitions to qualify officially as candidate.
